Reservations officer

St Raphael Resort & Marina needs to recruit their new associate for the position of Reservations officer to grow with us.

Job Overview

The Reservations Officer will oversee the smooth operation of the Reservations department, handling reservations, sales, and room promotions. They will perform their duties efficiently and effectively, providing top-tier service to guests, VIPs, and returning guests. They will ensure the optimal use of all equipment and supplies and proactively work to maintain or enhance the department’s profitability in line with the hotel’s policies, procedures, and standards.

 

Main Responsibilities & Duties

· Adhere to the Hotel’s Internal Operating Regulations.

·  Understand, implement, and contribute to the Hotel’s vision and objectives as specified in the hotel’s written procedures.

· Contribute to building an efficient team by taking an active interest in colleagues’ welfare, safety, and development.

· Analyze all guest and travel agent requests received via telephone, email and chat service and recommend suitable options for all customers and assist to confirm all reservations.

· Assist to make all room reservations and ensure maximize room revenue for all and ensure all reservation detail updates within required operating procedures

· Inform your superior if you encounter any issues with your scheduled working hours.

· Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times.

· Perform duties with maximum efficiency and productivity, following the department’s induction and training program, and seek clarification when needed.

· Adhere to the correct standards and methods of service as stated in the Hotel’s Operations Manual.

· Always cooperate, assist, and help other areas/stations/people when they are busier than you.

 

Qualifications & Experience

· Diploma in Hotel Management or related field from a university or Hotel Management School will be consider as strong advantage.

· Relevant experience will consider as advantage.

· Must speak and write Greek and English fluently. Russian language will be considered a strong advantage.

· Very good organisational and communication skills with high level of responsibility, initiative and judgement.

· Pleasant and friendly personality, fair, honest reliable and polite.

· Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment.

· Have a high-level attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.
