Position Overview

The assistant bar manager is responsible to ensure our bars’ operation is executed to the highest standard. He/She will be an integral member of the F&B team. With a positive and supportive approach, the successful candidate will inspire a dedicated, creative team, drive our core values of excellence and inclusivity, and deliver the very best experiences to our Customers.

Key responsibilities

Ø  Supervise all staff members in their duties and encourage or reprimand as necessary

Ø  Ensure the work areas are clean and well maintained

Ø  Stock management, ordering and regular stock-takes

Ø  Smooth running of operational responsibilities

Ø  Achieving targets as set by the F&B manager

Ø  Liaison with suppliers

Ø  Bars and cellars maintenance and repair and service organisation

Ø  Supervision of deliveries

Ø  First-class client and customer service

Ø  Highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene across all bar operations

Ø  Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, motivating and coaching associates; serve as a role model with focus on Fair Treatment.


Ø  Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ø  Experience in bar supervision or management in the hospitality industry

Ø  Proficient in Microsoft Office packages

Ø  Knowledge in cellar management

Ø  Understanding of health and safety regulations and licensing

Ø  Flexible availability including weekends

Ø  Guest-oriented and service-minded
