About Parklane
Parklane is the only internationally branded luxury beach resort in Cyprus, featuring 222 rooms, 34 suites and 18 villas, the award-winning Kalloni Spa and international branded restaurants such as Nammos Limassol and LPM Restaurant & Bar. The company owns the Park Tower, a completed 20-apartment luxury residential tower integrated within the resort’s premises. Position Overview
Restaurants managers is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the outlets’ operation. He/She ensures that everything is running smoothly behind the scenes, from staffing to inventory to customer service.
Key responsibilities
Ø Hiring and training new employees, including providing on-the-job training to new hires
Ø Ensuring that the outlets are staffed with competent employees who are trained in food safety procedures
Ø Evaluating employee performance, addressing problems, and planning for staff development needs
Ø Setting the prices of menu items and overseeing the accounting of cash receipts from guests to ensure that revenues meet targets
Ø Maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing company policies on employee conduct and safety procedures
Ø Ensuring that all food preparation meets health codes and other regulations
Ø Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
Ø Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
Ø Manages day-to-day operations, ensures the quality, standards and meets the expectations of the customers on a daily basis.
Ø Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
Ø Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
Ø Acts as the guest service role model for the restaurants, sets a good example of excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
Ø Handles guest problems and complaints.
Ø Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction.
Requirements
§ Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Hospitality related field
§ 3-5 years’ minimum experience of Food and Beverage Service Industry in the same position or any similar role in Hospitality Industry in 4 or 5 star Hotels
§ Excellent Knowledge of English Language
§ Highly effective communication and organizational Skills
§ Working knowledge of general restaurant operations, including personnel management
§ Excellent leadership, management, and team building skills
§ Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, Outlook)
§ Knowledge of Hotel software / PMS or Sales
§ Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification
