Gardener

Job Role

To maintain the hotel gardens, grounds to the highest possible condition, working amongst a team of gardeners.

Duties & Responsibilities

·         Participates in all gardening activities, the maintenance process and performance of the gardens.

·         Assists with the performance of general landscape, herbicide, fertilizer and other related chemical applications.

·         Carries out all chemical applications in a safe and correct manner

·         Performs general landscape and clean-up duties, including trash and debris removal and litter pickup.

·         Operates, maintains and installs sprinklers .

·         Works in a safe manner and reports any unsafe activities.

·         Uses the correct machines for the specific tasks that they are designed for.

·         Keeps all areas clear from weed and leaf debris to keep to the highest standards.

·         Reports any dangerous branches, dead or leaning trees to prevent possible danger to Guests/Staff.
