We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Hotel Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering superior guest experiences. The Hotel Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the hotel, ensuring that all operations run efficiently and in accordance with company standards.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
📊 Oversee the operational functions of the hotel in line with the organizational structure.
📅 Hold regular briefings and meetings with department heads to ensure smooth coordination.
✅ Ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
🏗 Lead major property issues, including capital projects, refurbishments, and guest service initiatives.
💼 Handle guest complaints, ensuring efficient service recovery processes are in place.
📈 Prepare and present the hotel’s annual operating budget, marketing and sales plan, and capital budget, and ensure targets are achieved.
💸 Manage hotel profitability, ensuring revenue goals and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded.
💡 Develop improvement strategies to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
📝 Maintain a strong understanding of P&L statements and make strategic decisions based on financial data.
📊 Monitor daily sales reports and adjust strategies as necessary.
🏨 Maximize room yield and revenue through innovative sales practices and yield management programs.
📅 Prepare monthly financial reports and budgets for hotel owners, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
📦 Oversee procurement of operating supplies and equipment, and negotiate contracts with third-party vendors.
🛠 Act as the final decision-maker for hiring key staff members and ensure the right team is in place.
🏆 Lead and develop the hotel management team, ensuring career progression and employee satisfaction.
👥 Be accountable for department heads’ performance and resolve guest complaints with professionalism and care.
🔑 Provide effective leadership and guidance to all hotel team members.
🏗 Lead business planning and ensure all decisions align with hotel and management goals.
📋 Respond to audits and implement improvements for continuous growth.
🌐 Work with corporate clients and tour operators for new business acquisition, collaborating with the sales team as needed.
🔍 Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including Health & Safety, fire regulations, and other legal standards.

Job Competencies:

  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management or a similar role, with a proven track record of success in leading hotel operations.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel management software, financial reporting, and revenue management strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the operational needs of the hotel.
  • Fluency in Greek and English
