Banqueting and Events Sales Manager

We are currently recruiting for the position of Banqueting and Events Sales Manager on behalf of our client, a company that hosts events at its grounds.

The job will consist of:

·       All Event admin – from inquiries to planning and successful execution (not operational).

·       Record all inquiries and keep a record of conversions, declines, etc. Analyze the result.

·       Competitor Analysis

·   Ensure that our packages are competitive

·   Be innovative and create attractive offers, ensuring that all costs are in line with budgets

·       Work closely with the Executive Chef in costing events

·       Work with the events budgets and meet targets set with F&B Manager / Restaurant Manager

·       Sales: Actively go to the local market and sell events in Paphos, targeting local companies on the island

·       Prepare quotes

·       Prepare for events: Function sheets, host client meetings, site inspections

·       Prepare a weekly Function Sheet meeting where details of upcoming events are discussed

·       Be present during the function at the beginning to assist the clients and ensure their event is run according to plan

·       All additional Events F&B admin if necessary, including monthly PACE reports and future bookings reports.

 

The ideal candidate should be creative, sales-oriented, well-organized, and possess excellent administrative and financial skills. They should be a self-starter with at least 3 years of relevant experience and contacts in the local market. Fluency in Greek and English, both spoken and written, is also required.
