The scope of this role is to ensure that the cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant is always maintained to the highest levels as per standards of operating procedures.


Reports to:

Stewards Manager and/or Manager on duty

Main responsibilities:

·         Ensuring kitchen and restaurant areas are always kept clean and tidy

·         Checking and clean all public areas and ensure constant supply of soap, toilet tissue and paper towels at all times.

·         Operating the wash up area, ensuring a sufficient supply of crockery, cutlery, glasses and paper towel for service

·         Assisting with checking of deliveries into the restaurant

·         Storing deliveries in the appropriate areas adhering to correct stock rotation principles

·         Maintaining cleaning product stock levels and informing management of cleaning product order requirements

·         Reporting any equipment or property defects

·         Ensuring that the correct cleaning materials and methods are used

·         Ensuring that company hygiene and health & safety standards are adhered to at all times





Skills & Knowledge

·         Knowledge of Greek or English language

·         Good organizational skills

·         Good knowledge of cleaning products and uses

Level of Experience

·         Previous experience in the same or similar position
