SOCIAL MEDIA/ MARKETING CO-ORDINATOR

JOB PURPOSE

The Social Media/ Marketing Co-ordinator will fulfill a dual role: responsible for managing and monitoring the social media strategy and targets of the Hotel’s Social Media Accounts, as well as assist with the marketing activities of the hotel when needed;

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Have overall responsibility for leading the Hotel’s social media strategy effort supervision of the Digital Marketing Supervisor and for the social media activities, aiming to grow business through an increase in traffic in social media as well as the promotion of the Hotel’s outlets, products and services

· Plan, manage, implement and monitor the strategy and targets of all social media accounts of the hotel in alignment with the Company’s general marketing approach, plans and policies in cooperation and supervision of the Digital Marketing Supervisor based in the Head Offices.

· Update and manage the corporate representation and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram. LinkedIn, YouTube) where applicable, as per corporate social media and review site tools, thus ensuring consistent representation of the brands

· Ensure the monitoring and active responses of the corporate social media and review site tools, thus ensuring consistent representation of the brands

· Regular feeding of our social media channels with news

· Establish needs in regard to the visual content of the Company’s social media accounts and cover these needs by organizing and creating visual material

· Cover live events for the Social Media accounts of the hotel

· Oversee the social media presence and platforms (plan, design, build and maintain)

· Oversee and manage all contests, giveaways and other social media projects

· Develop and monitor campaign budgets in co-operation and supervision of the Digital Marketing Supervisor based in the Head Offices

· Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights of the Company’s social media accounts

· Identify new trends in Social Media, evaluate and ensure the Company’s social media accounts are at the forefront in industry developments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

·          University Degree preferably in Digital Marketing and/or Social Media

·          One year’s experience in a progressively more responsible position in the field of Social Media or Digital Marketing

·          Able to work as part of a team and equally without much supervision

·          Must possess a pro-active approach, a strong drive for results and a track record of achievement

·          Pleasant personality, flexible, reliable and creative

·          Strong written and communication skills

·          Fluent in English and Greek
