Cap St Georges Hotel & Resort is seeking to recruit Cooks (Part Time)

Responsibilities:

Produces food of high quality according to the standard recipes.
Assists in maintaining a high standard of food production.
Prepares in advance food, material and equipment needed for the service.
Is able to work in all jobs in the kitchen and know all the recipes of the menu.
Has sufficient knowledge on food sanitation.
Observes and tests foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, using methods such as tasting and smelling.
Knows all cooking techniques and can use them accordingly.
Knows all cooking utensils being used in a kitchen operation.
Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep fryers, ovens, etc.
Knows how to operate all the main kitchen equipment.
Weighs, measures, and mixes ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
Keeps his/her working area always clean and tidy.
Helps on the other sections of the kitchen in case his/her section is not busy.
Qualifications:

At least 3 years of work experience at the same or similar position.
Ability to maintain a positive work environment.
A keen eye on details for accuracy.
Good time management skills.
