Floor Supervisor

St Raphael Resort & Marina needs to recruit their new associates for the position of Floor Supervisor to grow with us.

Job Overview

The new Floor Supervisor will primarily be responsible for ensuring that the standards of cleanliness both for hotel rooms and public spaces are met. They assign tasks to the team members of housekeeping department.  inspect work to ensure it’s up to standard, and provide training on how to best handle customers’ requests.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

  • Receives list of assigned rooms from Executive Housekeeper and prioritizes rooms requesting early cleaning and distribute the daily tasks fairly among the housekeeping team members.
  • Checks the inventory of cleaning cart and adds any necessary supplies.
    ·         Inspected rooms for quality assurance

·         Inspected public spaces /areas for quality assurance.

  • Ensures that overall, the resort meets hotel standards with a final walkaround.
  • Notifies supervisor of room availability and reports any suspicious activity to security.
  • Ensured all team members complied with excellent Resort policies, e.g. fire and safety precautions, ect.
  • Responsible for assigning housekeeping staff to cater specific VIP guests needs in a timely manner.
  • Trained team members by using proper techniques and documentation.
  • Ordered supplies for hotel and kept track of daily linen counts and inventory.
  • Liaison between Executive Housekeeper and housekeeping team members.
  • Notifies maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairs.
  • Takes found items to designated lost and found area if guest has checked out.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least three years’ experience in supervision positions in the field of Housekeeping.
  • Must speak and write Greek and English very well.

  • Very good organisational and communication skills with high level of responsibility, initiative and judgement.
  • Detail-oriented and thorough.
  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests.
  • Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards.
  • Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way.
