Lifeguard

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1.                   Maintain constant surveillance and visually scan assigned area of responsibility.

2.                    Walk around the area to monitor activities, provide instructions, and prevent accidents.

3.                   Respond to all illness and injury incidents around the entire pool facility immediately and appropriately. This includes, but is not limited to performing Lifeguarding skills, First                        Aid, CPR, and other until arrival of emergency medical services.

4.                   Rescue swimmers in danger of drowning.

5.                   Maintain a clean, safe and orderly pool. Inspect facilities regularly and report any unsafe conditions/equipment to supervisor immediately.

6.                   Attend and participate in all Mandatory Staff Meetings and Trainings.

7.                   To tide up the pool areas

8.                   To be polite with guests and co-workers

9.                  To know how to shut down water pipers in cases of leaks

10.              To clean and tide up the sun beds umbrellas and tables every morning

11.              To be well dressed not to smoke at work in the pool areas

12.              To be obedient to his superiors

13.              To collect and tide up sun beds

14.              To provide pool towels to guests according to the hotel’s procedure

15.              To carry out related to his position duties assigned by the General Manager

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & QUALIFICATIONS

1.       Knowledge of Greek or English language

2.       Pleasant personality

3.       1 years’ experience in a similar position.

4.       Lifeguarding Certification

5.       First Aid Certification

6.       CPR Certification
