Key Responsibilities

  • Greets and serves guests with a friendly and courteous attitude.
  • Takes orders and ensures accurate and timely service.
  • Presents and promotes the menu, offering recommendations when needed.
  • Maintains clean and well-organized tables and dining areas.
  • Collaborates with the kitchen and bar teams for smooth service.
  • Handles guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally.
  • To serve all tea and coffee, buffets, light refreshments, and other food and beverage as per the weekly function sheet, and to the required hotel standard – ensuring the highest standards of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Ensures that all Conference & Banqueting areas are kept clean, tidy and efficiently organized and stocked, including storage areas.
  • Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience in a similar capacity/ faction position in a 4- or 5-star hotel or in a well-established restaurant.
  • Good Knowledge of English Language.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of HACCP procedures.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification.
