Host/Hostess

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards.
  • Guides guests through the dining rooms and provides any needed assistance.
  • Moves and arranges tables, chairs, and settings and organizes seating for groups with special needs.
  • Monitors dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests.
  • Assists in closing duties, including cleaning host station, turning off lights, etc.
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by the F&B executive team.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with team members, supports the team in achieving common goals.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma will be considered an advantage
  • Minimum of 1 year experience of customer service, preferably in the Hospitality Industry
  • Familiarity with reservation software will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification
  • High customer service orientation with a commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Pleasant personality
