As a Pastry Cook, you will be part of our dynamic kitchen team, supporting the pastry section in delivering high-quality desserts and baked goods across our outlets. Working under the guidance of the Pastry Team Leader, Sous Chef, and Head Pastry Chef, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a structured, professional, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
- Prepare mise en place for the pastry section, ensuring readiness for daily operations
- Support senior pastry team members with baking, assembling, decorating, and plating desserts
- Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the pastry workstation at all times
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures strictly
- Assist with stock control, deliveries, and FIFO procedures
- Communicate effectively with the pastry and wider kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate of a Culinary or Pastry School (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in a pastry or kitchen role, ideally in a 4* or 5* hotel
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of English and Greek
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented, positive, and professional attitude
- EU citizen or valid work permit
