Pastry Cooks

St Raphael Resort & Marina is looking to recruit new associates for the position of Pastry Cook to grow with us.

Job Overview

Pastry Cook will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts, pastries and baked goods, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency and food safety. The role supports the smooth operation of the Pastry Section by following pre-set recipes and instructions from superiors, while maintaining cleanliness, organisation and efficiency within the kitchen.

Main Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts and baked items according to pre-set recipes and standards
• Ensure consistent quality, taste and presentation of all pastry items
• Organise and maintain pastry preparation stations for smooth and efficient workflow
• Assist with daily mise-en-place and ensure service lines are replenished as required
• Follow proper food handling, storage, hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times
• Support special dietary requests and a la carte dessert preparation when required
• Ensure timely storage of deliveries in designated areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all pastry and storage areas
• Identify potential hazards and follow safe working practices in the kitchen
• Establish effective working relationships with kitchen and service teams
• Be flexible to perform any other reasonable duties as required to meet operational needs

Qualifications & Experience

• Very good command of Greek and English (spoken and written)
• Previous experience in a pastry or bakery role will be considered an advantage
• Culinary or Pastry School diploma will be considered an advantage
• EU passport holder is essential
