JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Waiter B

Location: The Beach House :

Reports To: Head Waiter / Waiter A / Restaurant Manager/ Restaurant Supervisor

Job Summary

The Waiter B supports the service team by providing efficient, friendly, and consistent food and beverage service in a busy beach restaurant and bar environment. This role focuses on assisting senior waiters, maintaining service standards, and ensuring guests enjoy a smooth and pleasant dining experience. Waiter B is expected to work quickly, follow instructions accurately, and contribute positively to team operations during high-volume service.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

•  Assist in welcoming and seating guests
• Support Waiter A and Head Waiter during service
• Serve food and beverages according to established service standards
• Clear tables promptly and reset them for the next guests
• Ensure guest areas are clean, organized, and well presented
• Respond politely to guest requests and report any issues to senior staff

Operational duties

• Assist with mise en place before service and breakdown after service
• Refill water, bread, condiments, and other table items as required
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations and work areas
• Follow opening and closing procedures as assigned
• Comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
• Team & Standards
• Work cooperatively with waiters, bartenders, kitchen, and support staff
• Follow instructions from Waiter A, Head Waiter, and management
• Maintain professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
• Support training and development by learning service procedures and menu knowledge

Requirements & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or beach bar is an advantage but not essential
• Willingness to learn and grow within the business
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good communication skills

Language Skills

• English: Good working knowledge
• Greek: Advantage
• Additional languages are a plus
