In Room Dining – Night Shift
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve food courses and beverages to guests.
- Set trolleys according to type of event and service standards.
- Prepare orders for guests
- Clear away any dirty trolleys or trays from room, corridor or office
- Clean and polish all equipment
- Collect all breakfast cards from guest
- Prepare mise en place for next shift
- Have full knowledge of items served on the menu and answer questions on menu selections.
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability as well as for additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
- Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order.
- Inspect the cleanliness and presentation all china, glass, and silver prior to use.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or equivalent / Hotel & Catering Diploma is a plus
- 3+ years’ experience in the same position or any similar serving experience in Hospitality Industry
- Excellent Knowledge of English Language
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Knowledge of Hotel Software/PMS is a plus
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification
