Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
- Develop new and seasonal dessert menus in collaboration with the Head Chef.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the pastry section.
- Manage stock levels and control costs while minimizing waste.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Sous Chef specializing in pastry.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, chocolate work, and baking methods.
- Creativity and attention to detail in dessert presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
