Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods.
  • Develop new and seasonal dessert menus in collaboration with the Head Chef.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry items.
  • Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the pastry section.
  • Manage stock levels and control costs while minimizing waste.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Sous Chef specializing in pastry.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, chocolate work, and baking methods.
  • Creativity and attention to detail in dessert presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
