Office Administrator/Assistant Accountant

Administrative Duties:

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for the management team.
  • Prepare professional presentations and meeting materials.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Maintain filing systems (both physical and digital) for efficient document retrieval.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain accuracy and efficiency under pressure, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Accounting Duties:

  • Assist with data entry for accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process invoices and prepare checks for payment.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures (under the supervision of the accountant).
  • Handle cash receipts and prepare bank deposits
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

Cash Handling:

  • Securely receive, count, and verify cash receipts.
  • Prepare deposit slips according to bank guidelines.
  • Securely transport or transmit deposits to the bank.


  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate with a keen eye for mistakes.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles a plus.
