The Assistant Restaurant Manager will be  responsible for supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Staff Management: Assisting in hiring, training, and scheduling staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries and complaints to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels and assisting in ordering supplies to maintain inventory.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
  • Operational Support: Supporting the Restaurant Manager in making financial decisions and managing the restaurant’s daily operations.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and management abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the hospitality industry. The role often serves as a stepping stone to higher management positions and offers a dynamic work environment with the potential for career advancement.

 

Qualifications:

2+ years previous experience  in a similar position is a must in a well-established restaurant or 4 or 5-star hotel.
