The Role of the Bar Manager

As a Bar Manager you role goes beyond just overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bar. you will playa crucial role in providing attentive and thoughtful service to our esteemed guests. Your responsibilities as Bar Manager extend beyond delivering exceptional service. You will also can be a role model for our talented team, actively participating in their hiring, training, and development. By setting high standards and leading by example, you will ensure that our Tonic Bar staff consistently deliver an unforgettable experience to every guest who walks through our doors.

Your role as the Bar Manager encompasses leading and managing a team of 12 while prioritizing daily operations.

The hotel offers three exceptional restaurant venues, collectively offering a seating capacity of 250 guests. Our event facilities, with a mix of Ballroom and Meeting Rooms offer a remarkable 7,213 square meters (77,640 square feet) of space, making them the perfect choice for a wide range of events.

SPA and Wellness

Nestled within our establishment, our world-class spa offers an array of indulgence across 8 treatment rooms for male guests and 1 treatment room designed exclusively for female guests. This heaven of rejuvenation also encompasses high end facilities and a meticulously outfitted fitness center. Complementing this luxurious setting is our Spa department, boasting a diverse and dedicated team of 25 colleagues, all united in their mission to provide exceptional service to our esteemed guests.

Knowledge and Skills required:

• College degree preferable studies hotel/restaurant management, business administration.

• Minimum two years’ experience in a related position within a luxury environment.

• Strong leadership, organizational and people skills, as well as a drive to deliver an exceptional level of service.

• Problem solving, benchmark and innovation capacities.

• Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, mocktails and menu writing. Familiarity and interpretation of P&L statements.

• Computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

• Advanced knowledge and English language.

• Proven experience leading a bar program

• Ability to pour, mix, and blend a wide variety, spirits, and mixed drinks.

• Excellent knowledge of mocktails.
