Job Title: Barman B / Barwoman B

Job Summary
The Barman is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner. The role requires excellent customer service skills, product knowledge, and the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and service.
Key Responsibilities
Beverage Preparation & Service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages (cocktails, beers, wines, spirits) and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Mix ingredients according to standard recipes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Suggest drinks and upsell premium beverages when appropriate.
Customer Service
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate drink orders and serve promptly.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding drink options and ingredients.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain a friendly and engaging presence behind the bar.
Bar Setup & Maintenance
- Set up the bar before service (stocking glasses, garnishes, ice, napkins).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times.
- Wash glassware and bar equipment.
- Ensure adequate stock levels and inform management when supplies are low.
- Follow proper storage procedures for beverages.
Health & Safety Compliance
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Adhere to alcohol service laws and company policies.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Report any hazards or incidents to management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous bartending experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and beverage trends.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting kegs/crates).
Working Conditions
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required.
- Fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment.
- Standing for extended periods.
