Job Title: Bars Manager
Location: The Beach House
Reports To: Operations Manager
Position Overview:
The Bar Manager oversees all aspects of bar operations, ensuring exceptional beverage service, efficient workflow, and profitability. Responsible for leading the bar team, maintaining inventory, and delivering a high-quality guest experience, this role works closely with the Operations Manager to implement operational standards and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bar operations, including staff scheduling, training, and supervision.
- Ensure consistent quality in beverage preparation, presentation, and service.
- Maintain inventory control, order supplies, and monitor costs to meet budget targets.
- Develop and implement beverage menus, promotions, and signature drinks.
- Train and mentor bartenders and bar staff in service, safety, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing laws, health, and safety regulations.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen, restaurant, and events teams for seamless service.
- Monitor bar performance metrics and provide reports to the Operations Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in bar management or hospitality leadership.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and bar operations.
- Ability to manage budgets, costs, and inventory effectively.
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume bar or restaurant environment.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred:
- Experience in a beach, resort, or high-volume hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management software.
- Creative flair for drink menu development and promotional events.
Work Environment:
Dynamic, fast-paced environment with exposure to beachside conditions. Requires hands-on leadership, teamwork, and a focus on guest satisfaction.
