We are seeking skilled and passionate individuals to join our kitchen team as Cooks. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in the preparation of high-quality dishes, contributing to the overall success of our culinary offerings. We are looking for candidates with culinary expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and quality of all dishes.
Demonstrate proficiency in various cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, baking and frying.
Easily adapt to different cuisines and menu requirements.
Collaborate with the chef to contribute ideas for menu development and improvement.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Efficiently manage prep work and ensure timely execution during peak hours.
Work closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure a smooth workflow.
Communicate effectively with colleagues to maintain a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, including proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
Assist in placing orders and controlling costs to minimize waste.
Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes to meet established standards.
Address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
Requirements
A culinary degree or equivalent training from culinary school is essential.
Prior experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting is essential.
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
Excellent food-handling skills.
Extensive knowledge of quality foods and ingredients.
Good planning, organizational and communication skills.
Good knowledge of hygiene, health & safety and licensing regulations.
Positive attitude, team player, ability to work under pressure, hard working.
Benefits:
- Monthly net salary from €1800 reflective of your experience, skills, and market standards
- Working hours: 6 days a week, 8 hours per day (Tuesday through Sunday). Day off on Mondays
