Leonardo Hotels & Resorts Mediterranean, is now recruiting for the position of Pastry Chef at Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Hotel & Spa

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Το be the general in charge of the kitchens. Maintain high levels of personal hygiene and appearance, and health and safety standards in workplaces.
  • To follow the instructions given to him/ her by the heads.
  • To cost down, pastry products produced in the department in accordance with the standardized menu specifications, and submit to the Chef.
  • To always, enrich menus and buffets with new recipes, new flavors and imaginative decoration.
  • To prepare for the Chef de Cuisine, the weekly working schedule of pastry staff. Coordinate and supervise work of other pastry staff.
  • To be responsible for the day-to-day running of pastry requisitions from the stores.
  • To ensure that all buffets, theme nights and events are accompanied by specialty sweets.  In general, to ensure that, a dessert relating to theme night accompanies every special buffet
  • To have a daily brief meeting with the Head Chef, and  ensures that all his/ her complaints, suggestions, ideas are forwarded to the Chef de Cuisine.

Qualifications Requirements 

  • Graduate of Culinary or Hotel School and experience in a similar position.
  • Supervisory and organizational Skills
  • Decorations skills
